We’re on the lookout for passionate volunteers to help bring music to underprivileged communities. Whether you are new to volunteering or eager to make a positive impact, there’s a meaningful role waiting for you!
We’re looking for passionate individuals to join our committee and help make an impact through music and community work.
🌱Members of our committee are expected to attend physical meeting of 2 hours on the first sunday of every month.
Regardless of role, all volunteers support and participate in YouthHarmony’s programmes and events, in line with our mission of building an inclusive youth music community.
Role Overview

Events Associate
Events plans and runs YouthHarmony’s music programmes and events, coordinating logistics and volunteers. They also collect feedback after events and reflect on how programmes can improve. This role suits someone organised, proactive, and passionate about creating impactful experiences.
MarComms Associate
MarComms (Marketing & Communications) manages YouthHarmony’s online presence, including social media, content creation, and digital communications. They tell YouthHarmony’s story, promote events, and maintain a consistent brand. This role suits someone creative, communicative, and digitally savvy.
Volunteer Success Associate
This role manages the volunteer journey from recruitment to onboarding, support, and exit. Volunteer Success ensures volunteers feel supported, processes are clear, and records are properly maintained. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and building a positive volunteer experience.
Community Engagement Associate
Community Engagement builds and maintains relationships with schools, YouthHarmony Chapters, Special Interest Groups, and community partners. They help grow YouthHarmony’s presence and ensure strong connections with the wider community. This role suits someone confident, personable, and strategic.
Finance Associate
Finance oversees budgeting, accounts, donations, claims, and financial records. They help ensure YouthHarmony’s resources are managed responsibly and sustainably. This role suits someone trustworthy, organised, and comfortable with numbers and accountability.
Volunteer Engagement Associate
This role focuses on volunteer engagement beyond events e.g. organising townhalls, bonding sessions, and training, and gathering feedback to improve the volunteer experience.
It’s ideal for someone empathetic, communicative, and motivated to build a supportive volunteer culture.
Admin & Operations Associate
Admin & Operations serves as the organisational backbone of YouthHarmony, supporting leadership, maintaining administrative systems, and coordinating operational logistics. Responsibilities may include scheduling, documentation, record-keeping, venue and equipment management, procurement, and event support. This role suits someone who enjoys bringing structure to complex situations, working across teams, and ensuring things run smoothly behind the scenes.
