Music with Heart (MwH) x St Luke's Eldercare @ Whampoa Drive

Music with Heart is an initiative that aims to give back to the community through music. We hope to bring music to more community members, particularly the disadvantaged and vulnerable. Through Music with Heart, we hope that the youth volunteers, beneficiaries and the elderly benefitted from cross-learning opportunities and positive shared experiences.
The most meaningful aspect of the programme for the volunteers was the opportunity to bond with the elderly through interactive sing-along sessions, which created a lively, joyful atmosphere as residents enthusiastically sang and shared personal stories. Memorable highlights included engaging conversations comparing SP past and present after a resident recognized their school, as well as encouraging two residents who became especially involved in the singing.
